The size is perfect to allow a good distance to be achieved from a throw and great for scenting up with Duck,Pheasant odour and hiding in the rough to test the dogs ability to hunt out a smaller sized bird, after all if it can learn to hunt for a smaller bird then finding a larger one should be easier .
